Meet the British Von Trapps
I am delighted to be able to share this article from the Times today.
The members of the Bevan Family Consort are all my nephews and nieces - the children of some of my siblings! The launch of their first CD has been a very exciting event and the second one is to be recorded in July. Many years ago when I and my 13 siblings were young, we also sang as the Bevan Family Choir and produced two LP’s. We also appeared on TV and did a couple of singing tours abroad.
For us now, it is a wonderful and moving experience to witness this next generation continuing where we left off. Singing has had the effect of uniting both generations in an extraordinary and unique way.
