Art Programme
At the Avenue Art is seen as a crucial part of a student's overall academic development.
Pupils learn to use a wide range of materials to design and construct creatively through the Avenue's art programme. Drawing, painting and sculpture are explored and children are encouraged to develop and share their ideas, experiences and imagination. The works of a range of artists and designers are presented each term and children are encouraged to develop their skills of observation and make links to their own work.

Art has further been shown to improve children’s performance in other academic areas including maths and science.
