Walk to School Week a massive success!!

We wanted to say thank you everyone who took part in our Walk to School Week 4-7 October with Living Streets Charity.  We were astonished to see the majority of the school taking part either by walking, parking and striding or taking the bus. We appreciate many of you had to leave earlier than usual to take part so thank you for taking the extra time.  

Not only has this week encouraged the children to actively think about the environment and their health but it also created a significant decrease in the congestion outside of the school gates- making it much safer during drop off and pick up.

 
As we approach colder and more inclement weather we do hope some of you continue, when able, to encourage active travel with your children. Thank you again to everyone who took part.
